Cuba - It's Complicated

Cuba – It’s Complicated features more than 250 striking photos which together create a collective portrait of Cuban life spanning three years of travel and collaborative of travel and collaborative effort by five distinguished local artists who have come to know Cuba past its surface, to its cultural core: Darcie Goldberg, Ellie Byrom-Haley, Ben Richardson, Steve Adams and Tracy Colletto Adams. The pieces reflect perspectives of Cuba that have evolved over their multiple explorative journeys throughout the country, and each artist brings his or her own unique frame of reference, perceptions, impressions, and artistic area of focus to their photography.

This show was culmination of nine months of planning and creating and it was a blast. Almost as much fun as traveling with my comrades. Go see the show, it is colorful and soulful. ENJOY!

Visiting Cuba

This blog has not gotten much attention from the artist but I intend to use it more to share my travels and visits to art spaces. Havana has some amazing art venues and artist. Heading to Cuba again this December and looking forward to spending time there before the onslaught of American tourist erodes the pure beauty of the island. I am hoping our new relations with them will benefit the people of Cuba without undermining its' authenticity. Take at look at my photograph section for images from one of my past trips. More to come at the end of this year.
